چکیده

We propose a novel quantum cryptographic protocol without using polarized photons. The protocol consists of an optical coupler and four nonorthogonal coherent states which are analyzed by means of quadrature phase amplitudes of quantized light field.

An alternative model of quantum key agreement via photon coupling

It has recently been shown that shared cryptographic quan tum bits are achievable through the use of an optical coupler instead of polarised photons We show that such shared cryptographic bits can also be produced by using a di erent optical apparatus a beam splitter An important advantage of such a system is that it could be experimentally more feasible than an optical coupler

Giant violations of classical inequalities through conditional homodyne detection of the quadrature amplitudes of light

Conditional homodyne detection is proposed as an extension of the intensity correlation technique introduced by Hanbury-Brown and Twiss [Nature (London) 177, 27 (1956)]. It detects giant quadrature amplitude fluctuations for weakly squeezed light, violating a classical bound by orders of magnitude. Fluctuations of both quadrature amplitudes are anomalously large. The squeezed quadrature also ex...

We propose a quantum cryptographic scheme in which small phase and amplitude modulations of CW light beams carry the key information. The presence of EPR type correlations provides the quantum protection. Quantum cryptographic schemes use fundamental properties of quantum mechanics to ensure the protection of random number keys [1,2]. In particular the act of measurement in quantum mechanics in...
